About Us
Hiya My name is Caroline and below is a little information about myself, family and our setting.
I have been a High School teacher of the arts for well over ten years,i love working with children of all different ages. But i know the time is right to put my energy into working with familys and their children regarding the delivering of childcare for their young babies and toddlers.
In our setting at the moment we attend local play groups, enjoy singing at the local library to Creating lots of messy fun at the Art garden to quiet time where we enjoy reading or having a go a baby yoga. One of our favourites is playing with our puppets and making fun stories where we become pirates or a tiger.
We are fortunate enough to live in the quiet and picturesque area of Baxenden with the countryside on our door step. My family have a love of the great outdoors and it has shaped my little girl into thankfully loving it aswell. As a family we enjoy walking, and introducing our daughter to new experiences daily, this can be understanding how a tree grows, to bug hunting and enjoying outside in all weathers.
We enjoy searching for leaves then printing them onto paper, or finding a cone and making a bird feeder, splashing into puddles and watching their faces as we sing outside and search for birds or bugs.
We also do lots of cratfs, singing,dancing and making music. But we also love to read books, bake and play in the mud kitchen or allotment.
The allotment is a new area that is being developed as we move through winter, we will soon be planting seeds, watching our fruit trees grow and play in the outdoor areas such as the mini assault course, reading in our outside story or theatre areas to splashing and washing dinosaurs.
When I had my daughter watching her grow, and thrive in the world made me fall in love with her age group all over again and I knew I wanted to be part of hers and other little ones, so we hope to share our setting with you.
I can provide childcare for the main surrounding area's of Baxenden, Accrington, Rising bridge and Haslingden. With pick up and drop off for the 2 neighbouring schools in rising bridge and Baxenden.
